Ultimate Raja Ampat 2012
We headed to Raja Ampat in February 2012 for an underwater photography workshop led by Shannon Conway. The trip was organised by Divequest aboard the SY Indo Siren. We had 9 days of diving around Batanta, Misool and Waigeo Islands. Raja Ampat is a truly amazing destination - it is home to the planet's most biodiverse reefs and is stunning both below and above the water.
All photos were taken with a Nikon D300, Sea&Sea/Subal housings, 2 x Inon Z240/220 strobes. For macro images I used the Nikkor 60mm and 105mm macro lenses (sometimes with a Canon 250D diopter) and for wide angle I used the Tokina 10-17 fish eye lens (sometimes with Kenko 1.4 teleconverter).
